" I cain't, I'm too busy."

Does that sound like anybody you know? Lucky me, I went off to LaVeta to watch the taping of www.thequiltshow.com at the end of March! It was too much fun to see Ricky and Justin again, and of course it was Bruce's birthday and what better gift could a gal give a hubby than a visit with the guys? So much goes into the making of those shows. Plus we got goodie bags at the end of the taping. Who knew? And I picked up some fabulous fibers at the local quilt shop there. It was a great trip, though certainly a quick one. I hope everybody has signed up for Season 2 of "the quilt show". I know I've signed up for Seasons 2 and three. Whoo hoo!

Breaking News

Breaking News!  I've shared with all of you a photo of my own personal Featherweight ("Sublime"), but here's a photo of the very newest custom job.  Isn't it fantastic?  I'm loving it!!
If you're interested in other machines by the same expert painter, email me for his contact info.

Felting Fish Fun

I've been busy playing with a technique that seems to be taking the world by storm. Needle felting is the coolest thing. You can felt with a single needle, a holder that takes up to 5 needles, or a felting machine or attachment. I'm lucky to have the Bernina Needle Felting Accessory Set for my Aurora 440 and have I been playing!

More Paintstick Play

If you are new at the paintstick process, it is recommended that you tape down both the rubbing plate and the fabric so there is no movement to smudge your work.

A few of my favorite things:

I'm going to share with you some of my favorite things...see my newest toy? I haven't received it yet, though I do have confirmation that it is finished. So far, I have one in the original finish (black), a (Bernina) red one that I fancy, and a 222 free-arm. Happy Valentine's Day to me! The color is called "Sublime".
